Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our heritage footwear and services.
How do I determine my correct size in Crockett & Jones shoes?
Our shoes are crafted on various lasts which affect the fit. We generally recommend sticking to your standard UK size, but for specific advice on 'E' (standard) or 'G' (wide) fittings, please consult our comprehensive Last Guide.
Do you offer a repair and refurbishment service?
Yes, we offer a full factory refurbishment service for our Goodyear-welled footwear. This includes a complete sole and heel replacement using the original lasts to maintain the shoe's shape and integrity.
What is your international shipping policy?
We offer worldwide shipping via tracked courier services. Delivery times and costs vary by destination, and please note that international orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon arrival.
How should I care for my leather shoes?
To ensure longevity, we recommend using high-quality wax polish, cedar wood shoe trees to maintain shape, and allowing at least 24 hours between wears to let the leather dry naturally.
What is your return policy for online orders?
We accept returns within 28 days of delivery, provided the shoes are in unworn, pristine condition and returned in their original packaging. We recommend trying shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles.
Are your shoes made in England?
Every pair of Crockett & Jones shoes is manufactured in our historic factory in Northampton, England, using traditional Goodyear-welted construction methods that have been perfected over 140 years.
